A day or so is given as "free time" for the students to venture out and explore the islands for themselves.
There are many things to do. One such day led a few students into a local art gallery. The artist's name is Stanley Haumani.
He is pictured on the left in his gallery. He is very famous in French Polynesia. The large painting in the background was made into a
Polynesian postage stamp. Stanley has made a few stamps for the government and hopes to make more. Pictured below is one of the stamps that came from his paintings.
